Youth Minister

I accepted the call to the ministry in 1999 when I moved back to Texas from Arizona. I had the opportunity to work with the students at church on Wednesday evenings. Through God's plan I was able to go with our youth to Pineywoods camp and it was there that God spoke so clearly to me that he had a plan for me to teach and lead students. I talked with my Pastor and we prayed constantly that I would be obedient to God's call. It was then I was asked to pray about teaching the Junior high school boys Sunday school class. The youth Minister was going on a mission trip to Africa for two weeks and I was asked to take the Wednesday evening youth group and under God's direction lead them. I was called by another church in the area to come meet with the churches leaders and was asked to speak with their youth on several occasions and after three weeks I was called by this church to be their full time Youth Minister. I served at this church for three years and then was called here to Union Hill Baptist Church where I am serving and have been blessed immensely. I am Married to Debbie and we have been married since March 14th 1988, we have two daughters Carrie and Christina and our niece Heather (who we claim as our daughter) has lived with us for the past 6 years.
